My name is susan wanjiru. I am a kenyan,female born in 1983. I am a Christian. I am the first born in a family of six members( my Dad , Mum, two brothers and one sister) my home town is kikuyu in kiambu county in the central region. I am a trained accountant and formerly worked as a branch operations manager of Equity bank. I was inspired by one of my customers who challenged me to use the skills I have in own business and create employment to others. I am now doing business in kikuyu105in Nairobi. I deal in beauty and hair products. My main customers are the Salonists, and kikuyu105 estate residents. I am currently residing in kikuyu105 the same Estate I operate my business. I also trained in video and film production production.

I operate a beauty and cosmetics shop trading by the name Neon cosmetics. the business is located inkikuyu105. I sell beauty and Hair products I specialise in imported hair weaves and imported hair treatments. Since kikuyu105 estate is highly populated there is wide and potential market for my products. I have created good relationship with Salonists and beauticians who now have become my loyal customers. I also ensure that once I get a new customers gets the best quality products and the best service so that they can always come back and refer us to their friends.this way the business have increased its profits month by month. the business average monthly profits stand ksh 45,000 and looking forward to increase the profitability. My vision is to be a major distributor and wholesaler serving other business outlets in Ruiru town, kikuyu, Kenol, Zimmerman estate among other towns in the region and the neighbouring regions. I intend to use the loan to finance the expansion of the business towards this goal.
