I have always had an interest in being an entrepreneur instead of working for someone, as such even before getting married, i tried a number of business ventures, however due to luck of capital all failed.
After marriage, my husband through savings, helped me with a little capital which i used to start a salon business & now thanks to joining ZIDISHA last year, my business has grown even to allow me currently employ one person and i have a big appetite to grow my business & employ more youths in my community.
My plans for the year 2021 is to expand my business; open another salon, add mobile money for both Airtel & MTN users in my current salon and God willing venture into farming as well.
Currently with a million thanks to ZIDISHA loans, my salon business has grown to such a level as selling cosmetics for women such as make up kits, nails, nail polish etc, different hairs as well as platting of women's hair.
I do blowing of hair, steaming using my brand new hair dryer as well as toning services.
Last week i managed to register for mobile money agent with both Airtel & MTN and now badly in need of cash to invest in the business.
I intend to build up a beautiful fully stocked salon providing all cosmetic items to women & as such provide employment to my youthful ladies & girls in the community.
