I grew up in rural Kenya where I faced many challenges, especially being deaf and non-verbal since birth. Despite this, I worked hard in school and focused on finding my own way of life. After struggling to find a job due to my communication barriers, I decided to start my own freelance business online something I could do independently and proudly. In my community, people value resilience and creativity, and I carry that spirit in everything I do. I enjoy writing, learning new skills, and dreaming of building a life where I can support myself and others. If I ever have children, I hope they will grow up strong, free and proud of who they are no matter their situation.

I run a small online freelance business offering academic writing, technical writing, web content, and other digital services to clients around the World. These services are in high demand especially, among students, businesses, and professionals who need quality work delivered on time. I chose this kind of business because as a deaf and non-verbal person, finding traditional employment has been difficult. Freelancing allows me to work independently, use my skills and earn a living with dignity. My typical costs include internet access, working laptop, and digital tools to deliver my services. As my business grows, I hope to invest in a better equipment and tools to improve the quality of my work and take on more clients. I use my profits to support myself and I plan to further my studies so I can grow both personally and professionally.

I will use the funds to upgrade my freelance tools and skills, increasing my income and reliability. This will improve my family's quality of life, inspire others and create job opportunities in my community through growth.
