I am a young independent lady aged 28 years, I am a former student at ndabala girls secondary school of muchinga province. I didn't go to college immediately after grade 12 because my results did not meet requirements therefore my plans is to rewrite subjects I did not do well or just enroll in bridging courses to gain entry to tertiary institution.

During my school days, I faced a lot of hardships but I had to overcome them by building resilience through support system by connecting with friends, family, teachers and counselors who provided emotional support which reduced my feelings of isolation I had.

Growing up in poverty often made school days incredibly difficult for me due to facing challenges like, lack of resources, social shame and hunger. However my situation frequently buld empathy in me and made me strong drive to succeed and complete secondary level. I had enough time to learn, to grow and I had opportunities to invest in myself and develop a business skill from my grandmother that has made my life better today.

I have a department store that comprised of good second hand clothes, cosmetics and I play a role as a flash merchant because I have the inside line which I use to offer airtime and data to a growing number of customers every day. Having a store that sells both clothing and cosmetics stuff attracts more customers since they can get everything they need in one place.

My business has been down currently due to help my grandmother who has diabetes. I provide food, transportation and pay other necessary bills. I use my savings and some of the profit I make to do all those things have mentioned above. It is for this reason why I am requesting for a backup in terms of funds from you team zidisha to help me on this project.
