My name is Beatrice Mwanza the first born in the family of 6 children. I live in Makeni Bonaventure area in Lusaka.
I attended my primary education at Makeni Community School, where I did my 1 to 7, I was a very hard working pupil who performed very well and in my final grade 7 exams, I was very outstanding pupil in class after the final examinations and I was selected to David Kaunda Technical School where I did my form 1 to 5 from 1994 to 1998. While secondary my performance was exceptionally excellent and best student among my peers at school. Due to my hardworking in my school work, I was loved by teachers and guided me very well to pass my final examinations at form 5. Due to great mentorship by class teachers, I was greatly inspired to go to Evelyn Hone College to study, Arts Teacher's Diploma and I graduated with A plus and awarded as the best student in Arts and English.
Iam currently working as teacher at Matero Secondary School, where I teach form 1 to 5.
Our culture is rich in natural resources and the tourist industry such as the wildlife and water fall, which are the most tourist attraction in our land and our country's. The famous Victoria falls in Livingstone is the most waterfall that most tourist and the local people visit, it was founded by the great missionary David Livingstone.
It is my desire as a parent to see my children to get the best education and emulate their father who is a great lecturer at the University of Zambia
Hobbies, I like gardening at the farm, I like cooking and travelling discovering new things.
I offer extra lesson to pupils after school hours to pupils who are slow leaners in our community. The demand is getting higher and higher, hence am looking for funds to help to build 3 class room blocks and register a private school to accommodate more pupils wanting to catch up in their school work and prepare in their examination adequately. I also need to include adult education and literacy education in our community especially adults who are unable to read and write. Therefore, I need ,
1. 3000, Building blocks which will cost me K 30,000.00
2. 60 Tone of building sandy and crushed stones will cost me K 10,000.00
3. 50 Pockets of cement will cost me K 15,000.00
4. Labor cost, at least negotiable K 12,000.00
Total cost of the project will come to K 67,000.00
I will be grateful as new member to empowered and supported in my project.
The funds am raising, I need to register a private school in our community and build three class room blocks. There is high demand from pupils who are slow learners in class and want to improve their learning skills. Adult education also one them for literacy education for adults also wanting to learn how to read and improve their reading skills . This will help me be raising extra income beside my monthly income, it will also benefit the pupils improve and develop their learning skills to pass their examination and progress in their academic education to move to anther level.
