Cosmas Lungu is my name, I live in the famous compound of Lusaka called George compound located off Mungwi road. I'm married and I have a 3 children and a wife. I went to Kizito Primary School and later completed my grade 12 at Nyenyenzi Secondary School successfully and I did achieve by obtaining school certificate. Due to financial challenges I never went further to upgrade my education qualification to due to lack of money. My got unemployed during the time he was retrenched and his business which he started could not help enough to help me pay for tuition fees in college. Having gone a long time frame hardship and being jobless for a number years since I had completed my grade 12, life was so hard for me until I got some part time job at Good Time Steel Limited, Where I was employed as a dispatch clerk for 1 and half contract which led me to start up my own small shop in our compound. I'm an entrepreneur running my own business and am very much interested in applying for the loan. Looking at the past and the hardships of life , I would my children to work in school and live better lives in their near future. I love travelling and going to national parks, like mfuwe national park to watch wild animals.

I have a well established grocery shop in our compound. I sell groceries and business is doing quiet well. This January am planning to build an own shop in our compound. I have secured the land just near where my shop is located and I want funds to buy building materials to help me build my grocery shop. Over the years have been struggling rental which are very high and therefore affecting business orders in my shop. Hence I need funds to support me in building a own Grocery shop. This will make me happy and the happiest man this 2025. I sell all sort of drinks and groceries especially essential goods for home use. The grocery business is very profitable because I sell every day and I generate more income.

I'm looking at buying building blocks.

The budget is as follows;

4000 blocks will cost me K 40,000

50 pockets of cement will cost me K 10,000

40 Tone Tipper track of building sandy will cost me K 15,000

10 tone crushes stones will cost me K 5000

bringing the total budget to K 70,000.00

Should I build my own grocery shop, it will add more value to business and free my paying rentals which I'm paying currently and I will have more money to save for future use and reinvestment in the business

For the last 3 years, I have been renting the shop and this time around after buying a piece of land, I deceided to build my own shop so that I can be maximising of my profits. Hence with the fund I need to buy the building materials and construct a shop now. It will add more value to the business and maximise on profits, the profits will be used to expand the business and support my family financially.
