I am hardworking. I am a father and a husband too. My whole family depends on me for everything and it is this responsibility that made me stand up on my own feet and decide to do all it takes to ensure my family feeds and gets their needs. We were raised poor in the slums, education didnt mean much so we could not make it to high profile jobs. Instead i have been building and involving myself na kazi ya mjengo for the better part of my life. Bit 4 years ago i decided to take a risk and set up a food hotel (kibanda) and sell cheap food to the residents.
I sell food in a small kibanda. Most of my customers are nearby residents who might find it costly to cook or time wasting. I have builders, touts, drivers and many other regular customers who trust and like my food. However, due to the poor conditions of the kibanda, it cant be rated as the best place to take lunch. But now I have a plan to improve the standards of the hotel and still maintain the food prices, this way I will get more customers and retain the existing ones too
I will make use of my zidisha loan to expand my business, and by this i will buy more stock and increase the amount of food i sell daily to cater for the growing demand. This way i will earn more income as well.
