I am Mercy karimi Mbogo, a humble lady from quite a humble background as well. I underwent my childhood education in tough times when my parents could not afford my school fees among other basic necessities. However, I made a lot of effort and overcame all this. I scored well in School and got enrolled in one of the best Universities in Kenya (Egerton University). Having graduated in December 2015, I got some little employment where I did my saving to start a transport business. I got some financial support from some financial institutions to start my business which I am currently working hard to expand.
As earlier stated, i used my savings as well as some support from friends and financial institutions to buy a vehicle. I use the vehicle for transport and hire services from where I generate my income. The vehicle is able to give me a return of Ksh 15,000 hence amounting to Ksh 60,000 a month. My dream is to have a fleet of vehicle and in future have my tour company which I will manage on my own. My greatest desire is that Zidisha will team with me and make this dream a reality through financial and business mentorship support. My current requirement for me at the moment is to have some money around Ksh30,000 create a website to enhance the marketing of my tour services and well as connecting to more customers across the nations.
I plan to use the money to create a website where I will showcase my services to reach as many customers as possible. The website will cost me around KES 25,000. Other marketing features on the website among designing it to be as attractive as possible will cost me around KES 5,000. This will come to a total of KES 30,000
