I am Onesmus from Narok county. I was born in the village called Olchorro and grew up there until I completed my education.I joined nursery school in the year 2000 and continue with my education till I completed my college in the year 2019 from Rift Valley Institute of Technology.

I currently do my business in Ilmotiok town.But I built my house in Amalo village from my father's land.I goes home after closing my job.My house is found near Amalo primary school on your left hand when heading to Mulot centre.My family name is well known as (Kwao mnandi)

Some of the hardship and challenges I faced is that,it was hard for me during time of education since my parents had no job hence was hard for them to cater fees for my siblings and I.Also after I started my business,I had to use some amount of money to support my other siblings in paying their school fees which reduces back my business and earnings.

I started my business I collected some amount of money from the merry go round we had in the community.We decided as youths to start a group project to which we will raise funds to support one another to start a business.I was the first person to be given a capital of KSHS.40000 which I used them to start my business.

I am coming from a community where everyone is struggling hard to make ends me. people are doing different business to meet there needs.

I got married in the year 2023 to my wife called Mary Korir.I good married after my two siblings completed their secondary education and there were no any hardship for me.I have one child called Brian Mos.He is a good boy who want to be a pilot when he grow up.

My favourite hobbies are; I like volunteering in the community, doing charity works, doing creative arts, gardening and doing sports.

I do business in Ilmotiok town dealing with home supplies.I do sells goods that are mostly used at homes.I sells carpets, ointments,ropes, jerry cans, buckets, cups plates,basins cooking fat, rice, pangas and jembes.

MY BUSINESS

I am doing this business because it earns me profits and benefits.I am doing this business because It doesn't requires high capital to start and have high demands because goods are more usable at home.

COST AND REVENUE

I used the capital of 40000kes which I raised from my youths colleague to start my business.I used the funds to start my business and managed them.

I want more funds to use them buy more goods to my business.I will use the funds to buy sugar, rice, cups, bowls, cooking fat, maize flour, jembes and ointments.I want to buy goods that have high demands to allows me earns profit immediately.

I will use my profits and earnings to pay school fees for my siblings to further their education, pay school fees for my children, support vulnerable families and orphans get food and shelters and improves my daily standards of living.

I will use use the funds to buy more foodstuffs like sugar, rice, maize flour,unga chapati and mandazi, cooking fat,tea leaves, cakes,breads, baking powder,biscuits, groundnuts, sweets,glucose and other home supplies.I have good timing for foodstuffs because this is festive season and customers buy food in plenty thus I will earn more profits.
