I am the first born in a family of six siblings. I grew up in nakuru Kenya. After high school there were no any opportunities in the countryside so i moved to Nakuru town centre and enrolled for a course in I.T After finishing the course I went to to Industrial Area where I landed a job as a casual labourer. I worked and saved money and after a year I opened a stall selling green vegetables. I managed to save some more and moved to the town where I opened my mini cyber cafe business. I hope to expand my business and make it bigger with two or more branches in future.
My business offers internet services, printing, photocopying as well as stationery. I started this business in 2010 in order to be self reliant and also to have a decent life. Working in Industries as a labourer was very dehumanizing and I wanted a change. My biggest challenge is lack of enough resources for expansion. My customers are individuals who want to browse the net, schools, institutions and businesses. In future i intent to expand my business and open more branches. I am proud of my business when I see it help people connect to the world, get jobs and businesses.
This loan will help me purchase stationery such as fulls caps, printing paper, toner cartridge, envelops, marker pens and Biro pens I will use ksh 5000. I will use some purchases in my business while I will sell others to institutions and individuals. This will increase sales for the business and increase revenue and profit. I expect the business to be much stable and more profitable while my personal life and that of my family will improve.
