I am a farmer by profession. I was employed as a computer operator but during my working years i was not satisfied by being in formal employement. I decided to resign and venture into farming. This was a major challenge because i had no experience in farming but 5 years down the line i have no regrets. I went to school upto college level. My farming costs are Kshs 300000 per year and i get almost Kshs 600000 per year.
Given this loan i will be able to buy vegetable seeds worth 2 dollars. After buying this seeds i will be able to plant them and then harvest after 3 months. This will enable me to be able to get some income which will help me to take care of my family. I will also be able to supply the local community with vegetables as food.
