My name is George Ndungu

I was born and raised in Thika,I've studied all the way till university but had to drop out because I got seriously Ill and didn't have enough cash for school as well as hospital

I got better and decided to get employed, through my employment journey I worked in many fields

I loved being a barista most of all so I saved up about 50,000 and decided to open a small coffee shop

There have been ups and downs running the business but I believe it will bear fruit sooner rather than later

It's been tough but I believe that the tough times tend to bring out the best in all of us

My business is called funchum.. it's a small cafe.. I serve coffee, milkshakes, hotdogs, muffins, donuts and ice cream

It's in the food industry so I never lack customers

I chose to venture into it because I fell in love with being a barista and I've always wanted to sell and make coffee

Most costs go into buying raw materials and electricity

For the profits,I usually spend them to pay for my house rent as well as my small brother's school fees.. I also reinvest some into the business

I want to buy a new professional espresso maker that will allow me to make beautiful coffee for my clientele.. I want to make cappuccinos, lattes, mochas , espressos and any other type of coffee my clientele wants or love... I have experience as a barista and that will be an added advantage.. I also bought a beautiful coffee grinder that will make sure I use fresh coffee to make the beverages.. I also can't say no to an Irish coffee😂
