I finished my high school education in the year 2013 and later I joined Nyaore national polytechnic where I pursued diploma in fashion and design in the year 2015.
After graduation, I did many internships in fashion industry and I was being paid little stipend.
After corona in 2023, I started my tailoring business where I opened a small shop in the outskirts of Kisii town. I have managed the shop well and now I have my own machines and I have more customers.
I own a tailoring shop in the outskirts of Kisii town where I make new cloths and do repairs. I started it in the year 2023 and now I am still growing more. I look forward to having a big boutique to supplement my income and incorporate it with my tailoring business.
My profits I use it to buy new materials and fabrics with some I use to pay rent and save some. My husband supports other expenses since he is working.
I need support of (Ksh.15,000) to buy more fabrics to cope with the demand I have for new cloths.
Once my project is funded, I will immediately buy fabrics of different colours to make ready cloths for my customers. It will help me make more sales since customers will get ready cloths without having to wait. When the client is happy, the community flourish.
