My name is Tom Simiyu Masika. I was born on 03.02.1984 at chepkoilel village matumbei sub location kaibei location in Endebess Division Trans nzoia county . I was born in a family of eighth. Being the sixth born in the family. I began my primary education in the year 1989 and did my primary exams after ten (1999) down the line. After my form four, I went to college where I took a certificate in pharmaceutical technologist for two years then I took my driving license, sometimes I sold newspapers to cater for my school fees. But now God has blessed me with a job working with an NGO as a pharmaceutical technologist at the same time as a driver. I am married to beautiful lady Sophy and I have two lovely children i.e. Mitchell 3 years and Junior 1 month.
Due to economic challenge of the country I have decided to invest in farming in hold cultural products which is doing well according to the climate in my area am looking forward to get a loan of 100000 Kenyan money(Us dollars 1000 average ) which will help me to equip the required tools to expand the farming and also construct a reasonable green house in 3 months to reduce the expense of drugs .I got informed that Zidisha is the only organization that can help me to meet my target at this time that’s why I had decided to work hard to grow up financially with the entire Zidisha family.
I will use the money to buy the footwear (gumboots)
As a driver sometimes i pass through the roads that are mady but with the help of footwear i will be able to manage.
Also it will protect my feet from injuries and infectious germs from the mad.
It will lower the cost of seeking medication due to walking barer footed.
It will increase my savings.
