My name is Charles wahome, am 30 years old, a father of one child. I was born and raised in Gatundia village in Rimuruti district Laikipia county Kenya.I schooled in Lorematesho primary school then went to Ngumo secondary. After completing my high school I started working as a casual labourer in a nearby maize farm. Through the little payment I got, I managed to save some money which i used it to rent a small shamba which i started planting maize for sale which am doing up to date. I have always wanted to rent a big land but due to my financial limitations this become difficult.I usually visit children from less fortunate
In my piece of land i grow maize, cabbage, local vegetables which after harvesting I sell my locals because they are always on high demand. I chose this business because my father brought us up with the same and i would see how profitable it was. After selling the farm produce i get my profit which I use for my family upkeep and also pay school school fees for my child, also i invest some for my future children education. I will appreciate if you can lend me money to expand my farming business. Thank you.
Due to weather pattern change and prolonged dry spell, I have planned to purchase a water pump supply the whole place with water. And hose pipes long enough to reach each end, and sprinkler connected on. This will help me to supply vegetables even on dry spell. Thanks in advance
