My Greetings to everyone here ,my name is Rosemary a single mother to a bouncing baby boy, for as long as i can remember my education has been on and off ,due to my failed education i started to work in an Airtel booth in lusaka town and at night i would sleep in the booth aswell as there would be buses moving to other cities and people moving to and from i started saving the money i would get bit by from the booth i worked at ,when i got pregnant i realized it wasnt safe for me there especially at night so i had to learn indoor skills like making pastry so that i can sale to nearby shops and also other places like birthdays and gatherings ,i would bake from home at my Auntys place where i live ,or carry my equipments to the place where they pastry is needed ,i decided to work extra hard for my son who is now 4months so he can have a better life and not be a street thug just because of my hardships ,during my free time i keep working on my skills and learning new things ,like making Decorations at events thank you.
My business is about making Pastry dishes like meat pies, samosas, chicken wraps and sharwamas,i choose this kind of business cause when i worked in town alot of people would easily afford to buy meat pie than a buffet of food in eating cozzy eating places with the profits i want to grow and create a home for myself and my son ,with the funds provided i would like to buy tools to use for my kitchen and also try new ingredients needed on the market, thank you.
I would first like to pass my regards to the members of Zidisha that have allowed me this oppotunity to be part of the team ,with the funds provided i would like to to get more unitensils to use for my pastry making and sales ,this will benefit both me and the people in town as they will have quick access to food which is a basic need.
