I was born in a family of three children in Vihiga County which is in Western Kenya . As the first born, i grew up bearing the responsibility almost like that of the parent , making me come up as extremely open minded lady .
I started my basic education in Chugi Primary School where i graduated in 2017, after which i joined Koiwoarusen Secondary School where i graduated in 2022 . It is during my journey as a secondary school student that Covid _19 pandemic invaded our country . During this period , i discovered an inner strength as an entrepreneur, one i never knew i had within me .
I stayed with a relative who had for long traded in second hand clothes known as Mitumba in Kenya . She would leave me at the shop to run sales as she tool care of other things. Its here that i developed immense interest to have a business of that nature some day .
After graduating from high school , i got employed as a kitchen assistant at a hotel for one year, a period during which i raised capital to start my own business . First forward , this business has enabled me to take care of myself and my family members [ my parents and siblings].
I have a vision to open a bigger shop as i scale my business to greater heights . It is therefore my humble plea to everyone reading this to join in my vision and offer support where necessary in order to bring this vision to reality . Thank you in advance and be blessed .
My business deals with sales of Second hand clothes of all kinds , ranging from those of children, ladies and men's wear. I chose this business owing to the skills and knowledge i already had. In addition, these are fast moving goods that generate income at high speed.
It is from the sales of these goods that i have been able to fund my life and help my parents in paying school fees in part to my siblings and other day to day expenses.
I will use these funds to purchase clothes bales, whose proceeds will fund my living standards plus that of my family in terms of cartering for bills and other crucial expenses; as I strive to serve my community with the best and quality wear. By so doing, this will result to a symbiotic kind of interdependance as we co-exist peacefully.
