My name is Rachel Njahira born in Kiambu County and married in Kirinyaga county. I was born in 1959 and got married in 1982. I am a mother of four, two boys and two girls. Three are already independent but the last born is a third year medical student at JKUAT University. I'm a pro climate change advocate and have a tree planting group. I am also into women empowerment groups one doing chicken rearing. I am a church leader and a BOM treasurer at a local primary and secondary schools. I do farming as an economic activity.

I do agribusiness through farming. I practice mixed farming. My farm has; hass avocado, coffee, macadamias, bananas, dairy cow, poultry, maize, kales, spinach, carrots, goats, beans among others. In a good month I make up to Ksh 50, 000. I use local Sacco, commercial Sacco and Mpesa mobile banking. I also am in merry go round women groups where we do table banking. My aim is to do professional dairy farming. As at the moment I have a dairy cow where I sell 2litres per day. I would like to enhance milk production through quality feeds, supplements and modern cow shed. This my challenge for now. I would like to sell 15 litres daily. It's possible, it's achievable. I look get my support from zidisha which I got to know through my son. I want to repair the cow she at a cost of 15k. Also buy some feeds and supplements to improve on this cow since it's a new one.

I will use the funds to buy cement 3bags at Ksh 3000, sand 1000 and ballast 1000, the rest I will add with my savings to pay for labor to improve the status of my cow shed. Thank you Zidisha for this
