I am from the Guinea Savannah region also known as Upper Guinea. I am currently a retired civil servant and I live with my two wives and my children in a neighborhood of Dubréka, a prefecture located 50 km from Conakry. I work as a consultant and invested in everything that is likely to provide honest, additional resources. In particular I work for a Guinean NGO, the Centre for Development Support whose primary role is to support the development and implementation of development programs for communities and small and medium-sized businesses. Along with this I am also involved in income generating activities. The company that I have initiated is to manage a center of service delivery. The services offered at the center include word processing, various printing services, photocopying and internet services. The company is responding to services for clients who have difficulty in fulfilling themselves. These difficulties include power outages and lack of powerful internet servers in our area. All these services are only available over 15 km away. With a subscription to a connection, one or two computers, a printer, a copier and a Switch 4-port, the delivery center can satisfy the needs of all who need these needs and who don't have the means to make long journeys to get them. Activities usually take place in a room where tables are set supporting computers, chairs fans to ventilate the room. All this equipment is available on site in the markets of Conakry. The great difficulty in finding experienced IT personnel to manage the Centre.

My company provides office and internet services. The center includes word processing, various printing services, photocopying and internet services. This is to provide a certain category of people the opportunity to do things like complete their paperwork, photocopy their official documents, trade and business, property and residential services, and especially to send emails to their parents who are abroad. Students also go to my company for photocopying and binding of their courses and their thesis documents. To access these services, they had to travel to Matoto located about 20 km away. In its current state, the shop only has two computers, a printer, copier and equipment for the Internet connection. For a month all services are limited to 25 clients per day for the internet, about 750 clients per month. With an average of 6 000 GNF per connection, for one hour, that amounts to 4,500,000 GNF. Then about 2,000,000 GNF should be added for photocopying and binding. The only risks associated with these activities are computer viruses that could occur from customers carrying infected flashdrives. The production costs, including the salary of the manager, rent, costs of server connections and the price of office supplies is about 5,700,000, representing a gross profit of 800 000 GNF. To support my family I need those resources, which are woefully inadequate to the current size of the company. That is why I am asking Zidisha for a loan to buy new computers and increase the Switch capacity to 8 ports.

The loan I now requesting will be used to add a new option for my business. Indeed at its current stage, the Centre seems to reach its limits in terms of IT services. Account of our position on the outskirts of urban centers becomes very tight competition with other computer centers that have sprung up since we moved. This makes it no longer reasonable to continue to invest in this area this reason I felt it would be better to try a new option that will be able to be a more reliable source of cash inflow. For this, with the savings that I have done I will increase the amount of the current loan to create a dairy by purchasing a machine to debit creams that I am going to install next to the Centre. The investment will cover the purchase of the machine installation, the service subscription energy and the provision of consumable (powdered milk, sugar, macaroni, plastic buckets and coolers). With the position of the cross at the center of two roads accessing two great schools, creams flow is assured.
