My name is Ivone Achilla, a single mum of 2 beautiful kids.I reside in a small village called Kendubay bay in homabay county,Kenya.I am the lastborn in a family of 5 which we grew up through thick and thin in an unstable family.
I started my primary Education in Ogango primary for 8 years where I completed my primary level.Thereafter, I joined Ahero girls in 2012 where I worked really hard and passed my form four with flying colours.I really knew I had to work harder because my background was not stable,so I wanted to at least one day achieve my dream of becoming a nurse and help my family financially.
After passing with flying colors,life wasn't favourable enough for me to join College and continue with my education for becoming a nurse.I felt like my dreams were shattered but I never gave up because I knew In life there is always another chance or I knew God would open another door!
Despite all hardships, I still thought of something that could generate income,I totally refused to be pinned down by temporary life situations.I was just a young enthusiastic lady hungry for success.One day I just sat down and started thinking what a business could suit my residential area,and the answer was Agriculture business since I already hard a small acre of land where I could start with.
Fast, I have been able to learn basic in farming,since I was young child,I used to go with my mum to the farm and I could learn some basic skills about farming.Therefore, I started a farming business and I see myself as a successful Farmer in future.
I work tirelessly to build a strong foundation of worthwhile life ahead of me and my children.A life free from poverty and struggle.There is still hope, however,I know it's only possible through love, support and unity among us!

My business is about farming.The land area where I'm located in is suitable for growing maize,beans , groundnuts,green grams and many more.And maize flour from maize grains being the staple food in Kenya,that motivated me a lot.Again due to the high demand of cereals in local schools,shops,markets,I need funds to acquire more land and manure for this project.
If this money is granted,I will employ people to work with me and generate income hence earn some money to help their family...This will inturn change the society and a community at large.
