Hello,
My name is Felicity Wanjiru. I am 22 years old, living in Nairobi Kenya. As a child I was always fascinated by computers; how they work, how to fix them if they ever got spoiled and generally how to use them at first. My love for computers grew as I grew older. I was privileged to have studied a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. After, the university I was fortunate to have landed various roles in the IT Support and Customer Service industry. Today, I enjoy assisting people in solving their problems as a Customer Service Lead. Also, I was able to overcome hardships that came with unemployment and during this period I volunteered to work in certain bakeries within the Nairobi CBD. I got to learn how to bake and make sweet treats around the clock and I fell in love with this craft and thus came my idea to begin my own cupcake business.
My cupcake business is fairly new but is slowly growing. I do not have a full shop or physical location where people can stop by and make their order but I do reach out to potential clients via social media platforms. I would really like my business to have a physical location and to grow as well. The profits have been growing with time which I am proud of and I use these profits to grow my cupcake business.
The purpose of this loan will be to buy the necessary baking equipment and baking materials that I need to build up my business further. The equipment that I need is as below;
1. Stainless steel mixing bowls (set of 6) - $25.00
2. Cooling rack - Baking rack 12inch x 17inch - $14.00
3. 9inch proofing basket set - $22.45
4. Cookie cutter set - $10.50
5. Round cake pan set - $15.00
6. Square cake pan set - $15.00
I except my profit to go up by at least 20% with the right equipment which will be able to benefit my business and family as well.
