I am Peter Githegi Ng'ang'a born in the the year 1989 in cherangany, Trans Nzoia county. Am the last born child in the family of six.i went to munyaka primary school where and later joined St. Augustine secondary school where I passed my exams well and joined kenyatta university but due to lack of adequate funds,I dropped out and decided to do dairy farming which I started with a seven months old calf.i worked hard on it that has managed to raise more cows. most people in my locality are mostly farmers since the land is fertile with favourable climate. people from my area are very friendly, social and united. currently am not married but am planning to marry soon. I want my children to be great people to the society and focus on their education. I like reading swimming and playing basketball.
I mostly do dairy framing whereby I produce milk that I supply to a milk company and some to the local market. The demand for this product is promising as it gives me a good return that has enabled me to grow well. Currently,I college aa relative revenue of $450 per month which I reinvest through buying dairy meals pest control and other medications purposes. I use part of the income to pay school fees for my orphan cousin who is in high school. I willl use this fund to boost my project through buying dairy meals and vaccinations. Thank you.
We are experiencing a dry season hence there is no enough fodder to feed my cattle, with this funds I will buy hay to add to my cattle food stock. With enough food for my cattle this will improve milk production which will bring more income to my family and my community will have access to more milk
