My name is Steve Kivaya. I am an International Relations graduate from United States International University. My minor was Diplomacy and Foreign Policy with a Concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies. I live in Nairobi Kenya. I have experience in entrepreneurship, community service, administration, voluntary service and research.

I espouse the values of honesty, integrity, and hard work. I have excellent communication skills and I can work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to successfully execute tasks at hand.

I work as an independent translator for publications of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Since August of 2015, I have worked with the translation department of The Church as an independent translator. My work includes translation, content review, language review, and proofreading.

I translate general conference talks, manuals, monthly magazines, and internal communications from English to Swahili. I work online and from home and this requires a lot of internet use. Payments are usually made soon after the work is completed and submitted.

I need to purchase data bundles to finish a project I am working on so that I can hand it in on time before the deadline elapses.
