I am the oldest sibling of a modest-income family of seven people made up of my father, mother, and four sisters. I live in Bobo-Dioulasso, the economic capital of Burkina Faso, full of economic potential and business opportunities. I have a manual soap-making unit and I will soon open a place for copying and printing. I am an electrician and industrial maintenance worker in training. I launched this business to meet my needs and those of the whole family, including the purchase of livestock and crop-growing land. I am working on a pig-raising project that requires a medium-term investment, and also the establishment of a research and industrial maintenance office. And very soon a photography and film studio.

My business is a soap-making enterprise that is, for now, entirely by hand. I make scented liquid soap that is used for industrial and house-cleaning services, as well as laundry soap and unscented liquid hand soap.

Currently the demand is greater than the supply, for these reasons:

-The product's quality: the soap is very thick

-The delivery service: I do house deliveries

-The large quantities

-The affordable price

This business is very profitable in terms of earnings, and I am also receiving many client orders, which nourishes my hope of mechanizing the soap production.

The monthly production costs are up to 200,000 FCFA and I make a net profit of 100,000 FCFA to 150,000 FCFA.

I would like to use this loan to enlarge my soap-making business. Right now, it is all done by hand and I would like to mechanize the process. This is a growth industry. I want to first increase my production capacity, since I have more orders now and the supply doesn't meet the demand, and then I plan to mechanize production to make it more efficient.
