I am Ann Ngole single. I was born in the year 1998 in Mois Bridge. I was born in a family of six, two brothers and two sisters and my mum was a single mother. I started my schooling in Mois Bridge primary school where I sat for my K.C.P.E exams in the year 2012 then I joined Nzoia secondary school where finished in the year 2016.My child hood was challenging we were brought up by a single mother after my dad died when i was in class two. We were frequently send home for school fees because my mom would not afford to pay all our school fees all at once. I was not able to continue to college. In 2018 i got a job in Nairobi where i worked till 2022 where I moved back home so that I can take care of her because she was diagnosedwith dementia.I got a kid in 2023.
In 2025 is when I started a business where I hawk samosas and boiled eggs so that i can be able to support my kid and my mum.
My business is hawking boiled eggs and samosas where I make them at home and place them in a box where I go around Mois Bridge town hawking them. I started this business because I needed a staple income to support me, my son and my mom, it's also flexible where i am able to check-in at home from time to time to check on my mum as compared to bieng employed.
In a day I sell around four crates of eggs which costs me 1440 buy four crates then i sell ksh25 each boiled egg making total revenue of Ksh2400 from eggs which makes me a profit of Ksh960 in a day . I also make around sixty samosas which costs me Ksh700 and then i sell at ks20 each making a profit of Ksh500.
In a day I roughly make a profit of 1400
I use my profits to support my family and my mothers medication which is quite expensive.
I plan to raise Ksh6000 so that i can buy a trolley with wheels which I can push around hawking my eggs and samosas because currently I use a metallic box which is very heavy for me to carry around and makes me very tired at the end of the day.
I will use my funds to buy a food trolley wich will ease my job of using a heavy metalick box . This funding will help me buy a trolley which will make my bussiness easier of not carrying a mettalic box around
