I had Great Plans for my future Growing out in my rural village at Gitutha location,Kikuyu constituency. I started my primary education at lenguti primary school which I finished in the year 2004. After successfully completed my secondary education i moved to Nairobi City looking for an employment . I was employed in an electrical shop in umoja where I grew my passion for electrical installation. I saved what I earned each month and after 3 years I managed to let a small stall and Started my own electrical shop. Laziness and dependence for a Man in our culture is seen as a taboo and never tolerated.I would like my only son To grow to becoming an engineer and influence our society positively. In my free time I do play football fora local team and watch football.
My line of business can be categorized in service industry. I provide electrical installation and electrical fault repairs in my residential area. In my locality real estate is an emerging trend and therefore there is a business opportunity for electrical fittings and electrical technicians. Mostly, I incur expenditure via buying of electrical fittings e.g electrical cables, conduits, sockets, switches e.t.c. I in turn earn in selling and installing of the above fittings to my clients. Currently my son is in school yet, so all my profits are used in upkeep and re-investing in my business.
The above proposed loan will be used to purchase my electrical tool kit e.g a tool bag,set of screwdrivers, set of Allan keys, pliers, side cutters, e.t.c The total cos the set of tools will be around $40 dollars.
The tool kit will make my work easier and the same time make my work professional. My turn around time will be reduced and customer satisfaction increased. This will however translate to increased service charge and therefore increasing my overall profit.
