Since I met Zidisha through a friend, I did not hesitate to apply to see my work in progress. My name is Ousmane Sanou and I was born on January 12, 1986. At seven I was at school and obtained the Certificate of Primary study respectively, the Study Patent of the first cycle, the professional aptitude certificate Accounting then study Brevet Professionnel still accounting. Currently I am raising cattle, an activity that I like.
The sum of my experience in active school life and made me a person with initiative and full of energy has arrived for my purposes. The system used for this type of breeding is very simple. I buy mostly from cattle dealers, calves. These calves are then fed, the diet of cattle, and more generally of ruminants, consists essentially of feed. There are several types, which differ in their mode of conservation:
Green fodder directly grazed by animals during the summer: grass, alfalfa, rapeseed, ...; __ harvested and conserved forage for consumption during the winter including: __ dry fodder as hay (cut grass then dried over pre before harvest), or straw; __ the silage, stored after grinding in a silo and maintained by acidification in the absence of oxygen : corn silage, grass or occasionally sorghum or beet pulp; more or less dried fodder, kept away from the air in a plastic film, that farmers call the wrapping of grass or legume. It is an intermediate product between a hay and silage.
Breeding is an activity I lead since my childhood. Born of a father who is breeder, this is my legacy. More than 30 years although filled with this activity, I am very satisfied with the results generated. My system is paid calves I feed often 6 to 12 months I replace the market while making very attractive profit margins. The loan of 173,994 francs will allow me to pay 2 calves for a sum of 120,000 francs CFA and the rest of the money will be used to pay the vaccine and animal feed. Currently has 3 oxen my possession that I intend to sell by Christmas and year-end due to 225,000 francs each. Thank you to you and good wind Zidisha.
