My name is Ms Louise N’Diaye and I was born on January 13th 1967 in Dakar. I have a son and I help support my parents financially. I set up a little tailor workshop where I make clothes, pillows, comforters, bags and men and women outfits etc… I would like to have my own shop, buy better equipment and expand my business.

If the loan is granted I would like to :

1.Save to buy 2 machines, one for embroideries and the other to oversow

2. Buy more fabrics, I use linen, basin, gagnilah and sometimes fabrics that come from conteneurs. Linen (the price per meter varies between 1200 FCFA and 2500 FCFA). For Gagnilah I prefer clients bring their own fabrics. If I have to provide it, it would cost me between 30.000 FCFA and 40.000 FCFA same thing with basin that costs about 7500 FCFA they are too expensive. Since I do not have the machine I pay by pieces at the tailors. From 750 FCFA to 5000 FCFA depending on the style. I create my own styles. The lady who does the beading costs me 3000 FCFA per outfit. Making comforters costs me about 10,000 to 12.500 FCFA. The pillows cost me 3500 FCFA per meter and I can make 4 small pillows with that.

I currently have orders to keep me busy for the end of the year, January and February (pillows, art pieces with woven fabric, bags, and shirts). So I really need liquidity. I have been waiting since May. Please see my business description for the list of items I need to buy.
