My name is Eunice Nalavwe , I live in Chawama Compound in the capital city of Lusaka. I grew up with my mother and dad died when I was very young. My educational life has been so hard due to hardship and my mother has been going through hard since my Dad passed on, my mother used to sale agriculture merchandize on street and could not raise enough money to pay for my school fees. Therefore, I completed my secondary school very late due to on and off school, as result of financial challenges. However, because of too many challenges I joined my mother to become an entrepreneur because of the great art of baking and the passion I have of baking. Having started a small business has helped me to live above hardship at the moment. I'm now looking at how to increase my financial capacity to grow my business and it's by joining Zidisha community family.

I have a small business of which I bake and make , cup cakes, cakes, flitters, doughnuts and I make crackers. I fould this business to be profitable and the demand is very high especially on school going children. I sale them by being mobile in our community, schools and the market. I started with ZMW 250.00 and I make ZMW 100 per day. Since last year 2025 when I started the business, I now work with ZMW 1000.00 of which the profits I save to pay for my tuition school fees at the University next year. I will be very grateful to be supported to grow my business and generate more profits to support my mother who is currently sick and diagnosed with diabetes.
