I am Jackson Rono from Bomet county. I was born in village called Mitimingi and grew up there till I completed my primary school in Kapsimbiri.I didn't manage to join secondary school because of lack of fees.

The challenge I came across was that I lost my parents when I was in primary school class eight which made me not to join Secondary school, I had to drop out of school to hustle for my younger siblings to get fees and education. I started moving around the community looking for job like houseboy and shamba boy where I was able to collect some amount which I used to do good budget to make sure I saved so little amount. I did the hustle for a while I started to use my savings for starting my farming business.

Currently I am married and have three children whom I want them to have a better future than the way I am now.

During my free time I like visiting the sick,reading bible and playing gospel music.

I will use the funds to buy more farm inputs like seeds and fertilisers.My business deals with all kinds of cashcrops food like cabbages, maize,beans,peas,spinach, sukuma wiki,potatoes,onions,carrots and others.I choose to run this business because I had the skills I had acquired from my parents and it doesn't needed high capital. I will use my profits to improve my family living standards, pay school fees for my children,siblings and orphans.I will also use the profits for investment.

I will use the funds to purchase the following goods;certified seeds,fertilisers,agro-chemicals, irrigation kits,manual tools,greenhouse kits,processing and storage. Using certified seeds and right fertilizers can often tripple my harvest.This can gives me more profits to support my family, pay school fees and support the needy.Thank you.
