Gyeduaa Esther is my name. I am a native of Kintampo in the brong Ahafo region. i live with my mum and younger siblings, 3 of whom are all in school. After i completed SHS i took an apprenticeship position in a beauty saloon in Kintampo. I passed out from there in 2013 and i managed to start my own small hairdresser saloon. over the years my customers have increased drastically resulting in congestion and long hours of queuing when many people come for their hair do.

with this business I have been able to support my mum and my siblings through school and other domestic responsibilities as well as taking care of my two children who are now in primary school.

I buy retouching creams, hair moisturizers, and other necessary creams and combs which i use in my line of work. I also own one standing hair dryer and a few hand dryers which i use when my clients come in larger numbers.

my services are for a fee and through that i make some profits which i use to buy more stock of creams and other necessary items as well as pay utility bills and also spend a little fraction on my family responsibilities

Currently with the increase in my clients i will need about 600 GHS to secure a more spacious place for my work and addition 600 GHS to secure additional standing hair dryer while the rest will be used to hire two apprentices to help me in my business.

i expect a profit of 800 GHS after everything which i plan to reinvest in my business to increase its potential to handle the increasing number of clientele
