I grew up in kenya and completed my education through 8-4-4 system. My childhood taught me resilience, hard work and the importance of perseverance.

Despite facing financial challenges and later loosing my job, I remained determined and turned a difficult situation into an opportunity by starting a home cooked food business. Every challenge strengthened my belief that persistence leads to growth.

I live in a community where people are warm, kind and always willing to support one another making it a wonderful place to build a small business.

My child is still very young, a year and a half now, but I hope to provide the education and opportunities he needs to pursue his dreams in future.

In my free time I enjoy caring for and playing with young children as it brings me joy and has taught me patience, compassion and responsibility.

This experiences continue to shape who I am as an entrepreneur and as a person committed to creating a better future for my family and my community.

I prepare and supply fresh home-cooked meals to individuals, families and small groups who need affordable, nutritious and convenient food. Many people have busy schedules and limited time to cook making healthy ready-to-eat meals an essential service. I focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality ingredients and consistent taste to ensure customer satisfaction and to encourage repeat business.

I chose this business after loosing my job. Rather than give up, I decided to use my cooking skills to create a source of income for my family. What began as a way to overcome a difficult period has grown into a small business with the potential to expand, create jobs and serve even more customers.

My main expense includes: (daily)

purchasing fresh ingredients - $80

cooking fuel - $10

food packaging - $10

transportation - $50

other daily operating costs - $10

The revenue I earn helps me to cover this expenses while gradually growing the business.

I reinvest a significant amount of my profits by buying more supplies, improving operations and expanding my customer base. The remaining income supports my family daily needs and my child’s future. As the business grows I hope to employ more people, pursue a masters degree in Artificial Intelligence and eventually use my knowledge to mentor young people by teaching practical AI skills that can improve employability, support entrepreneurship and create sustainable income opportunities.

I will use this loan to purchase fresh ingredients, cooking supplies and food packaging to increase the number of home cooked meals I can prepare and sell each day. Having enough stock will help me serve more customers consistently without turning away orders due to limited capital.

As my business grows I will generate more stable income to support my family and continue reinvesting in the business. My long term goal is to create employment opportunities by hiring additional staff as demand increases. I also hope to continue with my education and eventually use my knowledge to mentor young people by teaching practical skills that can improve their employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Every contribution will help me strengthen my business, provide quality meals to my customers and build a better future for my family and my community.
