I am Edinah Towett from Longisa town born in Cheboin village. I grew up as a hardworking girl despite the challenges I undergone. I completed standard eight but my education was cut short due to cultural pressure.I grew grew up from an humble background and because my parents were not able to pay school fees they wanted me to get circusised and marry at my early age.Me as a bright girl I decided to look for a better solution to save my future.I decided to escape home and look for hustle work and I found work as a maid. While I was doing the job I had to save every possible shilling.I did a job for a short period and used my savings to open my business.I used the saving as my capital and started my business of bookshop and stationery because I liked education business.This my business is not only a source of income but a testament to pave way adversity and commitment to education.My mission is to see my children have every opportunity I was not able to have.I want them to pursue their education to an extent they need and explore their passions.During my free time I enjoy spending time with my children, encouraging their seriousness and love for learning.
I will use the loan to strategically restock my business and expand my bookshop and stationery business.I will purchase diverse inventory like computer, textbooks,stationery,art supplies and offer services like photocopying,printing and lamination.I chose this business because I liked and belief in education power. I aim at providing essential learning resources to the community.I will use the profits to facilitate continuous business growth and expansion plan, and enable me to give back to the community through education initiatives and create job for youth employment opportunities.
