I am a young gentleman who is currently a student of international relations and diplomacy at The Technical University Of Kenya and is also a volunteer with several NGOs and CBOs in the country among them are Young Achievers Network and Change mind change future who are concerned with empowering young people in the society. I am also a young entrepreneur who venture into small businesses in the country's capital that is Nairobi and even up country that is Kisumu. I was brought up from a very humble background where my parents did not had the chance to acquire good education due to lack of school fees, hence they did not have enough money to raise me like other children, i worked hard in school and always believed in God since he is the provider of everything and i managed to pass my primary school exams and went to high school and did the same and passed and i joined the university where nobody from our clan had gone to. I like reading and watching movies during my free time.
Currently i run a milk bar in Nairobi, my business premises is located at the southern part of Nairobi in Landmawe estate. it avails and suppliers fresh milk to the residents and the shops and hotels that are in the area, my profit margins are always good despite how bad the trading month is. the larger percentage of my profits i use in growing the business and the remaining percentage used for my personal upkeep and school fees and savings.
I decided to start this business because i saw that the demand for milk is high in the area and that the packed milk was so expensive, so i decided to bring to the people a cheap and affordable milk close to them since milk is a product rich in protein and useful in maintaining people's health.
I plan to use the loan in expanding my business. I already have a sum of money amounting to KSH 15500 which i have been saving , i need the amount requested in the loan(ksh 4517) to add to the already existing amount to help me in purchasing a freezer costing ksh 20000 that is $250. The freezer will enhance my milk preservation procedures and will also enable me make some milk related products like cheese, yoghurt among others which enable me to attract more customers due to variety of products, this will raise my profit margins by 10%. hence the loan will be of great help to me and my business.
