Wendy Ngulube is my name. I was born in Mufulira town where I raised by my parents. I come from a poor family . My father was a miner but died when I was very young. My mother was a business lady selling some merchandizing at the local market. She could only raise what we call hand to mouth and could not afford three meal per. My life was full of struggles such as that going to school I could only manage thrice or twice a week. Looking at the suffering of my mother and siblings , made me to work extra hard and achieve in my school work. I persevered in my school work despite hard times and managed to obtain good school results. Currently I'm studying nursing and Apex University and doing business to support and take care of my school needs and my son. I'm a hard working young lady with a bright future , I want to expand my business and I want to harder to bring the best in son so that he can grow up well and take him to a better school and provide all the necessities needed for him.
I'm a student at Apex University and I'm an entrepreneur , I sale second hand clothing and I ran a salon through which I raise funds to support me in school buy groceries and other things needed at school. I sale the sale the second hand clothing and I target my fellow students to buy just within the campus and I also provide salon or beauty services. Demand is indeed high because I sale good clothing and the quality of services I provide especially beautifying the nails, plating of wig , and the quality of wig hence that has given a lot of demand among the students. But I lack capital to grow this business to meet full demand because I'm the only student entrepreneur who provide the service and sale the second hand clothing to the student with the campus. The profit I make I use to pay school fees, buy groceries , books and keep some money for upkeep for my son and reinvestment.
I need to 2 bales of second hand clothing and buy new salon equipment to meet my customers requirements. The business is growing due to demand. The benefit I will get from this is that I will be generating more profits to support for school needs, my son's school fees and up keep for my family. Thank you members of the Zidisha family for unwavering support.
