My name is Allan Fredrick, a 27 year old from Kenya, and I am the firstborn in the family of five children. My life has never been easy, but it has alway driven by hope, responsibility, and dream of building a better future for my family.
I was raised by single mother who struggled every day just to keep us a live. We never knew our father, and we never had a palce we could truly call home, Instead, we grew up in modest center where my mother still lives today. Life there was not only difficult it was uncertain. Some days we had food, many days we did not. My mother worked tirelessly doing odd jobs, often returning home exhausted with barely enough to feed us. Watching her suffer while still fighting for us shaped who I am today.
As the eldest child, I felt the weight of responsibility from a vary young age. I knew that if anything was going to change for our family, it had to start with me.
Education became my only hope.
Despite overwhelming challenges, I refused to give up on school. I fought my way through the college under extremely difficult conditions. Without finacial support, I worked in construction sites, labored in peoples farms, and took any job i could find just to pay my tution and basic needs. There were moments i nearly dropped out, moments I went to class hungry, and nights I studied without knowing how i would survive the next day.
But I kept going.
On december 13, 2025 After years of struggle, sacrifice, and reselience, I finally graduated with Diploma in Information Communication Technology. It was one of the proudest moment in of my life not just for me, but for my who had sacrificed everything she could, even when she had nothing.
After graduating, I believed my break through had finally come. My dream was find a job, support my family and continue my education part time degree. I wanted to lift my family out of poverty and give my siblings another chance at life.
But reality hit hard.
Despite my qualifications and determination, I have been unable to secure employment. opportunities are scarce, and each rejection has been heavy blow. My dreams of further aducation and supporting family began to fade.
Refusing to give up, I made a bold descision to start dairy farming with the little saving I had. It was not easy, and I am still at the very beginning of this journey. I chose this path because I wanted to create something sustainable, something that could generate income and restore hope for my family. However, challenges remain overwhlming. lomited resources, lack of proper equipment, and finacial constraint contiue to slow my progress.
Today, I stand at a critical point in my life. I am not asking for sympathy I am asking for an opportunity to grow my small dairy farming project in to a stable source of income. I have come this far through resilience, hard work, and faith. With your support, I believe I can go even further.
My business is focused on cows rearing, specially dairy farming, which plays an important role in supporting my income and serving my local community. I keep and manage small herd of cows, producing fresh milk that I sell to the nearby households and local markets. This business helps meet the daily demand for nutritious daily products while also sustaining my livelihood.
I take care of my cows by ensuring they are well fed, healthy, and properly managed. I invest time sourcing qualitty feed, mentain clean housing, and minitoring their heath to ensure consistent milk production. Through this hand on approach, I have been able to mentain a relaible supply of milk and build trust with my customrs.
Despite the progress have made, my businessis still growing and has great potential for expansion. With a ditional resources, I plan to increse the number of cows, improving feeding system, and adopt better fariming practice to enhance productivity. This will allow me to increse milk output, meet higher demand, and generate more income.
My goal is to develop a sustainable and profitable dairy farming business that only support my family but also contributes to the local economy by creting opportunities and providing quality products to the community.
Alongside dairy farming, I have also been investing in crop production especially maize and beans which plays important role in sistaining farm.

The maize I grow serves multiple purposes. Part of it is sold to generate income, and part used to amke silage, which privides nutritious feed for cows throughout the year. This has improved the health and productivity of my dairy herd. In addition, I also sell some of the silage to ther farmers, creating extra source of income while supporting others in my comminity.
The beans I grow contribute both to my income and food security for my family, By intergrating crop farming with dairy production, I am able to use farm resources efficiently turning crop redues into valuable livestock feed while earning from both farm produce and silage sales.
This approach has strenthened my dairy business and brought me closer to my goal of bulding a reliable, sustainable, and profitable farming enterprise.
I will use part of the new loan to secure napier grass from my naighbours farm. I will harvest it regularly as needed to feed my cows, ensure they have enough nutritious food to stay healthy and produce more milk. The grass will be cut and transportedweekly, allowing to mantain a consistent feeding schedule for better milk production.
This extra income will support my famiy's needs and allow me reinvest in the farm. my suceess also benefits the local community by providing fresh milk and sharing practical dairy farming knowledge with neighbours.
