I am Ian Njoroge, born in 2002 in Nairobi, Kenya. I started my primary school education at Embakasi Primary School, where I did my final exams in 2015. I then proceeded to Jamhuri High School, which I left in 2019 before joining Daystar University to study Film, Performing Arts and Media Studies. Here, I graduated in 2024.

During my first year of study in the University, I joined Drama Club, hence experiencing fast hand in practice, everything I only studied in theory during lectures. We performed in schools and public entertainment joints and made a substantial living from it since it earns a lot of money. After my graduation, I started my own theatre group and resorted to become a job creator in line with what I studied.

I'm an actor by profession. My business is linked to the live performance of arts. We work closely with institutions like schools, churches and restaurants, where we do our live performance to the audience. I have so far trained and employed over 40 actors, young deserving talents who can now afford a descent living standard. It gives me joy to see young people making a living from their talents.

This venture has a lot of income as it depends with the number of audience attending the live performance show. It also has real life lessons delivered through characterization during the performance, instilling moral and mental support to the society. The profits gained are used for training of actors, purchase of costumes, paying the actors and sustaining my family.

This funding will be used to buy some important and basic costumes for stage live performance. When all actors have necessary costumes, the performance becomes more enjoyable, doing justice to every penny paid by the audience to watch the play. The profits are the pillar of my livelihood and my family as we educate and entertain the society.
