My name is Fredrick Owuor from Bondo, Kenya. I am the last born in a family of eight. I went to Baropuk Primary School and then proceeded to Bondo Townsip Secondary School where I sat for Form 4 examinations in 2013. I graduated from Kolpine Vocational Training Center- Thika in 2016 with a certificate in Food and Beverage. I am married with one son who is 2 yrs old.
After college I got a job in a restaurant as a waiter and with small savings I managed to get some capital to start the second hand clothes business.
My business is selling second hand clothes in Bondo Town open air market. I usually buy the second hand clothes from different wholesalers in peaces. This is very costly and therefore the profit margin is small. Apart from selling second hand clothes I also offer catering services in weddings, funerals or home parties. I plan to get a loan to help me buy the second hand clothes in bales as this will help me increase my profit.
I am applying for a loan of 6,000 kes to buy more stock of second hand clothes for my business. this will increase profits. My goal is to grow the business and I am very grateful to my funders are helping me to achieve this goal.
