MARITAL STATUS: Married.
I am mercy Chebet from Kitui County Katineni village.I came from the family of five siblings where me as the firstborn.
I was born and brought up from humble family.I joint Katineni nursery School in the year 1988,Katineni primary school in the year 1990 and Later Katineni Secondary school in year 1997.
The challenge and hardship I faced is that my father died while I was in standard eight,I was about to join Secondary school but fortunately I didn't join because there were no fees because my mother had no job and she struggling also to pay fees for my other siblings and also to feed us.Despite these all challenges my mother wanted me to get married at an early age and I had no any option.So I drop of school and got married at an early age.
After I got married,I joined my husband in farming.We did farming of cash crops of which I was selling them and saving some money.I did farming for a while till it reach the time I decided to open a shop for selling clothes.I used the money I had save for capital.
Our land is favourable and adaptable to everyone because the weather is warm and wet hence fits everyone.The climate is good in our area.
I have four children.Two boys and two girls.I am working had to make sure that I get them good education for their good future.My firstborn and second born wants to be doctors, Thirdborn wants to be a teacher and lastborn wants to be an engineer when they grow up.
My favourite hobbies and pastime is that I like reading the Bible, visiting the sick and prisoners, playing football and helping the needy.
BUSINESS TITLE: MASS FASHION AND BOUTIQUE
My business deals with selling of clothes and boutiques.I do also sells school uniform.
I love this my business because it is giving me more profits which I can use to pay school fees, assist the needy and invest to achieve in future.
I decided to run this business because I saw that the clothes
had high demand in the area which will make me gain more
profits.
The total cost I have in my business is 90000kes which is earning me a profits of 8000 per week.So currently I need approximate of 100000kes to top up my capital to make around 200000kes so that I will be able to earn 15000kes per
week.
I will use the profits to pay school fees for my children, pay school fees for vulnerable families and to invest to achieve in future.
I will use the loan to purchase more new brands fashions because this is festive season hence there is high demand for new clothes especially brands.I will aim at making full stock so that I cannot run less.I will buy clothes for men, children and women.I will also buy new different shoes because they also have high demand.Also as we are ending the year, January 2026 there will be high demand for school uniforms,so I will also purchase school uniforms.The funds will assist me alots to purchase the goods and thus will give me high chance of getting more profits.I will use the profits to support my family,buy clothes for orphans especially this festive season and do investments.Than you.
