Dear zidisha team,
My name is Jefries Nyongesa, I'm writing to express my interest in being one of the zidisha community and a good work you're doing to help entrepreneurs and students in developing countries. With a background in community development and a passion in business development and self employment, I'm eager to be part of the beneficiaries and collaboration opportunities.
I have worked with different organizations and currently I'm working as a uber driver where I have gained skills on how to work and manage uber and taxify business which I believe aligns with zidisha mission.
I'm inspired by your dedication to helping communities to develop and help each other through coming together as a team and contributing to individuals and businesses
I would greatly appreciate if given the chance.
I have been an uber and bolt driver for the last two years, in those two years I managed to buy my own uber car, where I resigned from the company as their driver and focused on being a driver for my own car and I would like to expand my business so that I can create employment to youths in my community so that they can refrain from drugs abuse due to unemployment.
I have been inspired by zidisha's work in providing micro loans and fostering economic empowerment through peer-to-peer lending. My mission to help create employment and grow our community makes me believe there's an alignment of goals with zidisha.
I am applying for this loan to expand my taxi fleet, which will allow me to grow my transport business and serve more customers efficiently. Currently, I operate with a limited number of vehicles, which restricts the number of trips I can make in a day and sometimes leaves customers waiting longer than necessary. With the loan, I plan to acquire additional vehicles that will increase my daily capacity, reduce breakdown interruptions, and improve overall service quality.
Expanding the fleet will not only increase my income but also create job opportunities for new drivers. Many young people in my community are unemployed, and this project will open doors for them to earn a stable living
