Hello, Zidisha Lenders, With the 30 traditional chicken that started with my small income i get from my regular job and which have been able to hatch 50 more chicks and with selling the first lot of chicken i managed to gather Ksh 10,000 to start small vegetable farming which i supply to local markets in wholesale price in order to gather enough market. currently i am not selling my eggs nor any chicken in order to hatch the eggs and from there get around 200 chicks which i will divide into 60 for laying eggs and the rest to rear for selling to local hotels and supermarkets whose order is never fulfilled due to the great demand of local breed of chicken.the local chicken if in good weight goes for an average of ksh800 each and also sell my eggs at ksh360 per tray which i will be expecting 2 crates per day.for the vegetables i deal with growing onions which i sell at ksh60 per kilo and the small quantity of 70kg i get after harvest the money is quit enough for buying seeds and spraying insecticides. with the additional income i will be able to buy more local chicks and expand the laying chicken project and also increase the onion growing to large quantities of averagely 200kgs. by renting a small piece of land in my neighborhood which goes for Ksh 5000 per season plus buy export trays for selling eggs to supermarkets plus the branding of the eggs.in conclusion i want to harvest 200kg of onions which will earn an income of ksh12000 and increase the number of chicken for sale to 300 which will be selling for 600 each averagely and sell my eggs @ Ksh 300 after increasing the number of laying chicken to 150. Eventually after saving my regular salary i will be able to acquire my own piece of land which will be big to accommodate even a green house project.

With this idea i tend to create a full time job for myself plus several job opportunities for Kenyans and also teach people how to get starting of their own projects such like mine.

When I get the this loan, I will use 50% of it to purchase the required farm inputs. Half of the remaining will go to many and other required labour. The other half will remain as security which I will use only when need of maintenance and other miscellaneous services.

I promise not to let you down. I look forward to your assistance and promise to be regular and prompt in repaying the offered loan.

Thanks to Support and Zidisha community at large. God bless you.
