I grew up in a compound set up in southern province of Zambia.I was a housewife for many years until I decided to go into farming and I have not looked back.I knew i would not thrive in a white collar environment because I love nature. I live in a diary farming area and making vegetable farming lucrative .

I have three sons ,one is studying to be a lawyer and the other one is going to med school this year.The youngest wants to study geology when he is done with secondary education. I love cooking and trying new dishes every time.

I have gone into onion farming. There is usually a serious onion shortage in zambia seasonally. It costs me about 6 kwacha per kg and revenue fluctuates between 12 and 16 kwacha per kg.I use the profits to pay for my children 's education and to plough back into the business.

I will buy a bag of fertilizer for my winter maize project.I only managed to buy a bag of fertilizer but now will manage to feed the crop right up to the end and be able to sell at the beginning of winter in may
