Growing up in a village set up as a small boy , life was not easy to cope with. Going to school was a big struggle for me because we had to walk long distances to get to school. My name being Rodrick Sheke. Sheke means hard working man in our traditional culture. I fought hard to complete high school because my parents were unable to meet all my school requirements. While growing up I took gardening of crops with keen interest and started earning some good income that helped me out to pay school fees. When I completed high school, I took this gardening seriously and started growing on a large production of crops. I'm an entrepreneur seriously involved in the production of crops. Learning about Zidisha loans , I got interested to apply for the loan with the hope of getting a loan to buy more land , farming inputs and gardening tools.

I'm an entrepreneur in the growing farming products such as maize, a variety of vegetables such tomatoes, onions, green pepper, potatoes, cabbages and carrots. These goods are consumed daily and are in high demand with readily available market for sale. I need at least to be helped with a sum of ZMW 15,000.00 to buy more land , farming inputs and gardening tools to increase the production of crops due to the growing demand in our community. Currently I have 2 helpers but once I raise funds I need to buy more land for farming , I will need to employ 2 to 3 workers more for more production of crops and generate good income to support my family and pay my workers their wages handsomely.

With funds needed, I need to buy the farming Inputs such fertilizer , seedlings pesticides, weed killer and the gardening tools which will cost me a total of K 12,000 so that I can grow a larger production of crops for sale and generate good revenue and ensure food security in our community.
