I 7was born in Homabay County, Kenya. I am the firstborn in a family of children. I studied in rural areas of Ringa Homabay county. I did my schooling at Atemo primary school and later joined Atemo Second School through well wishers. My family never had fees to further my university studies. I later relocated to Nairobi City to search for greener pastures. Having come to a new city life was hard to extreme at times sleeping or going hungry without food . Going for construction works carrying stones and cement gave me small capital to start fish business. I have been endorsing to support myself and also my family back in rural area. Through this fish vendoring I able able toa sustain my live hood a little. I save for rent and food. I would really love to expand this business, my my savings cannot get me to that limit as I have many people depending on me. I would say being a firstborn comes with responsibilities.Futhermore, I haven't lost thirst for further studies I am just lacking funding to further my studies. Which I am planning to go back once I save enough.
My hobby is dancing and playing football, also watching movies.
I will be selling fish and omena to my community. Fish is a well known basic food proving protein and necessary nutrients hence the most readily available source of protein
I choose to sell fish because it's the only business I saw available and with high level of proteins if managed wisely
My costs would include buying stock prices and also transport costs to market areas in addition to delivering costs.
I usually use the profits to buy food for my skef as well as two of my siblings I am staying with. I also use the profits to pay my rent and boost by business further.
I will use the funds to buy more fish stocks. With this, the profits I get i use to provide for myself and family. My stocks will continue improving over time hence I will get more profits and hence improve my living standards as well as my siblings.
With more fish, my community will get more basic need in form of fish hence improved diets and a healthy community at large.
