my mane is Kwaku Gyau and I am 34 years old. I was brought up in a humble background in a remote village in Ghana. As the last born in my family of five, I was fortunate to have elder brothers and sisters who support me in my education. I attended a local primary school where I studied for 6 years. After looking for a job for four months without success, I consulted my friend who offered to train me as a trader. moreover the business is young and therefore requires more investment so that it can reach a stage where it can sustain itself. my hope is to grow the business gradually with the goal of having my own supermarket.
my business is a retail shop that deals with selling food items such as rice, maize flour, sugar, cooking oil, milk, eggs, and juice .the shop is located in outskirts of mpatasie. I started the business about three months ago with a capital of 1200gh. the shop serves a fairly large number of costumes since it's strategically located at a junction along a busy street with many residents middle income earners who need to do frequent shopping of food items to feed their families. all the profit is reinvested into the business to expand the range of products available as per customers demands.
If I am lucky to have this loan, I will purchase different kind of food items such as sugar, milk, soap, fruit juice, and cooking oil which will cost be about 260 dorllar. The rest of the money will be added to my savings account to expand my shop. With these food items I am expecting my profit to increase by 50 % per month. Thank you.
