I was born in Lucky summer Nairobu county in Kenya. My family later relocated to Makdara ub county then started my schooling. I started my schooling at Dr Kraph primary school where I then did my KCPE exams that took me to Ofafa Jericho High school where i got exemplary grades that I was to join university for further studies. I am eagerly looking to pursue Bachelor in Medicine (Nursing). I come from a financially disadvantaged family hence tough for me to join university immediately. However, I decided to start water delivery business to various households within my neighbourhood. Here, water is unavailable hence we source water from far which many people are unable to get because the distance is far and need transportation. I have seen the opportunity to get the water from far places where it's available and make it available to people in my locality at a price. This business is really doing good hence am able to sustain my live hood and serve to further my studies.
During my free time I like playing football and also watching movies.
I supply water to my community. Within my area, there are no water drainage pipes to pump water to households hence remain very basic need to many people. I choose this business cause I would love to expand opportunities tmfor people to access water and open a bigger delivery station offering fresh and clean water to people hence good health and reducing water related diseases.
The costs involved include buying water from a far place at a cost, then transport costs using a Mkokoteni(wheeled ) and revenue accrued are much about 40000Ksh in a month.
I plan to reinvest my proceeds to open a much bigger station supply to a bigger neighbourhood at large, water scarcity remains to be a problem within my locality for long.
Also from the proceeds or revenue Intend to support my studies late this year. I also use my profits to support my mother and fellow siblings
I will use the funds to buy more water to stock, hence water will be readily available to my local community. Hence from the profits I will be able to rent a space to refill water to my people unlike refilling from water bottles directly.
I will be able to get more profits hence sustain myself and family. This will improve my livelihood as well as that of my family.
This will also mean improve health to myself, family and community as a result clean, fresh and abundant water.
