Bejani Sibongile a single mother of 5 children. I live in Lubengele compound in Chililabombwe the border town. I live with children and I look after them all by myself and pay school fees for them. Education wise I did do very well then as a youth and I ended up in the streets where I decided to venture into entrepreneurship.Because things became so hard for me without earning any income and look after my children. I did put a small business on the main market in our community to have over come hardship . As you may be aware in our community Africa set up it is very hard as a single parent and provide for your children all alone. I therefore need help from the Zidisha community to help my business grow big and support my school going children effective because I believe that when they grow up and finish their school and get better jobs. They will also look after me very well.
Iam an entrepreneur, I have a stand in Lubengele market and I sale a variety of goods and these are dry beans, dry fish , second hand clothing and soft drinks. Demand is so good and I sale them very fast but I lack capital to stock up more goods for sale. I started this business of merchandising three good at the market with ZMW 400.00 and today I'm operating with ZMW 10,000.00 . I have running this business for last 5 to 6 years now. Hence I lack enough capital to grow the business and start generating good profits because for things I sale business they sale very fast.
Currently , I'm trading outside the market , I need these funds to build my own shop so that I can be stocking my goods properly. When it comes to rain , I always get affected and I want to stop this now. The profits I make I save for expansion of the business and helping my children pay for their school fees.
