I am a woman of 37 years old, am called Agnes Mansah.
My parents too were also farmers.
I started fighting for myself in my teenage. I use to travel to the city to sell fruits and vegetables.
That's how I got my capital.
My community is a famous area , due to the forest reserve and the hydro electricity dam.
This zidisha loan if approved and funded will be helpful to me.
I sell food items to households in smaller quantities for food preparations. Some of these items are beans ,salt, pepper (powdered ,dry and fresh), onion ,eggs, spices of all kind, vegetables etc.
My business is at Bongase in Bui catchment area in the Banda district. Most of the people of my area lives under poverty so most of the people cannot buy in bulk and so breaking these items into smaller quantities make them affordable to the people.
Again I prepare drinks like cold tea ,sobolo(pineapple plus some local leaves), ginger drinks and bread at my shop.
My drinks are mainly patronise by school children and the small scale miners (galamsey operators as they are referred to ) and the fishing community and neighbouring community also buy the other items most.
My weekly sales level is about 160 to 250 dollars or more.
I will therefore be happy to receive zidisha loans support once again .
Thank you all.
