My name is Anna Namushi Kabisa. I was born on January 23, 1970, in Kalabo, in the western part of Zambia. I currently live in Sesheke and I am a mother of three children. I am a marketer and have been in business since 2011. Over the years, I have engaged in different types of businesses, and I am currently involved in tailoring.
I am a marketer engaged in multiple income-generating activities. I sell vegetables, doormats, and clothing. Initially, I used to buy vegetables for resale, but I have since developed my own garden where I grow a variety of crops. These include rape, Chinese cabbage, tomatoes, and onions, which I harvest and sell after 2–3 months depending on the type. This allows me to have vegetables available for sale throughout the year. I also grow and sell different types of plants.
In addition, I am skilled in tailoring and sell clothes. I also produce handmade doormats by purchasing cotton wool and weaving them myself, a process that takes one to two days per mat.
With these funds I'll will order seeds for my garden, seed for rape, onions, tomatoes, and eggplants. I also buy cotton for my doormats which I make on my own.
