I work for the government and at the same time I do business on the side. I own a tuk tuk (transport) vehicle that ferries people in Kiambu town. My total income in a month is 50,000 KSh and I am looking into purchasing a 2nd tuk tuk before the middle of this year. I have already saved up some money towards the purchase of another tuk tuk. I am a good Christian woman and looking forward to having a good working relationship with Zidisha. My plans for the future are to secure my family financially and give them a better life.
In addition to my tuk tuk (transport) vehicle business, I have ventured into home rentals with my sister. We are currently on www.airbnb.com and www.homestay.com. Most of our clients have requested a washing machine for clothes and I am kindly requesting a loan to help purchase it. We used all the saving to furnish the house.
